What we collect when you use the contact form
Only what you type into it: name, e-mail address, the stage of the buying process you select, your message. For the PDF request form, your e-mail address only.
Technically we also record a shortened form of your IP address (the final portion is removed before anything is stored, so it no longer identifies you), your browser identification, the page you submitted from, and the date and time.
Why, and on what basis
Solely to handle your enquiry. Legal bases: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Where it goes
Nowhere outside CyMea. Your enquiry is stored on our own web server and sent by e-mail to our own mailbox. No third-party form service is involved — your browser sends the data only to our own domain. The site is hosted by Hostpoint AG in Switzerland, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection.
How long
We delete your enquiry no later than 24 months after we receive it. Our storage is swept automatically each month, and the related e-mail correspondence is cleared on the same schedule. Statutory retention obligations are unaffected.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect using the contact form; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
Cookies
The form sets no cookies. Your light/dark preference is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us.
